"My Dad was very impressed with you - and so was I - you were very gentle and direct and informative. Your advice seemed sound at the time - and we followed your direction. When my Dad and I were speaking with you on the phone, and receiving your emails - both of us commented on your professionalism and attention you gave us. Thank you so much from me personally. I would have never known where to begin - or how to start the whole process without your wise advice."
- Surrey, BC -

Keep doing what you do. It is meaningful work that helps many people and their families. With Deep Gratitude"

I spent a great deal of time trying to find a lawyer to work with in making claims against the Trusts following the death of my husband at age 52 from mesothelioma. I spoke to a number of lawyers in the US (I'm in Canada) and did not feel comfortable working with any of them. I got the distinct feeling I was just another number, and they were quite clear that they would take the maximum percentage that they were entitled to from each claim...In practically despair, I contacted Rohan Atherton and was very impressed with both the speed and detail with which he responded to my questions and concerns. I also felt he was fair in the percentage he took from the four successful claims he made, and in advising me to hold out for individual evaluation of my husband's case in a couple of the claims, since he died at a relatively young age. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Rohan and Mesothelioma Claim Advisors if you reside in Canada and want to make a claim against a Trust.

"I just wanted to thank you for what you have done for John. After we met you, I was sure that you would do the best for John. I have been particularly touched by your compassionate nature - as you well know not many people have good opinions of lawyers but you have proved them wrong! You treated us both with respect and compassion and did most of the work without too much input from John...We don't know what the future holds for him but he feels that he has at least provided for me and the children. We are grateful that you have helped give us this security."

"I write in acknowledgement of your kind letter and cheque for the asbestos claim for my late husband. I am very grateful and appreciative for your help through the time of my husband's great suffering..."
"On behalf of my mother I wish to thank you for your fine work in this matter. Years of complaints and sensitization have finally produced some recognition of guilt by the asbestos industry for my father's shortened life. Although we have had a short relationship in this matter, results were swift.
Thank you for your help."
"I am writing to thank you very much for your part in dealing with my asbestos claim. We didn't think we would get any compensation and it came at a time when we needed the extra money to help with expenses for my treatment, so I wanted to let you know how much we appreciate your help."

"I wish to acknowledge receipt of the cheque send by your office. I do thank you for the continued interest and pursuit of these claims, though, needless to say, no amount of compensation can ever make up for the awful loss of my dear husband and also for the suffering he had to endure"
"Thank you so much for all you have done for me"

"Thank you very much for the cheque for my asbestos claims. I am taking all 17 members of my family to dinner next week, and will also make a substantial donation to my church for the new disabled toilets. I am now in a wheelchair and this new facility has enabled me to return to church as well as many others"
"This is just to thank you for the payment in the claim for my late husband. I cannot tell you how grateful I am. We are in the middle of an economic recession and I can assure you that to me it means a lot and I thank you for your assistance and help."
"I would like to extend my deepest gratitude to you for your continued interest in the case of my departed husband. The financial payouts have been incredibly helpful and have always come at the time when needed most"
"Many thanks for all the hard work you and your colleagues put in for the families of people who have suffered due to asbestos. Thank you so much for the cheque I received today"
"I was surprised and grateful to receive your cheque today. I regret so much that Derek's life was cut short because of this dreadful disease he contracted during his working life, and the enormous amount of pain he suffered. Had he lived, he would have continued to be the wonderful, caring husband and father that he always was. I am thankful that Derek's untimely death is still acknowledged and for your continued effort on my behalf."
"I wanted to thank you from the bottom of my heart for all the trouble you took to negotiate the increased settlement in my case. The money could not have come at a better time. My daughter recently got married and her husband has to undergo surgery - so this money is really God sent. May God bless you."
"I am writing to acknowledge receipt of your cheque. What a complete surprise! It seems a long while ago when dad was so desperately ill and mum nursed him through the traumas of that awful illness. I will be sending my sister her share of the cheque too. Oh to see the look on her face when she receives it. She will, without doubt, be astounded and for me, I can't believe that dad is still keeping watch over his precious daughter and son. We are indeed indebted to you all"
"May I say how grateful I am to receive your cheque. I would like to thank you for your proficiency in looking after my interests over the past few years. Without you we would have received nothing. The money will not bring Geoff back, but it will allow me to have a good holiday at Christmas"
"Thank you very much for your letter dated 19 April enclosing the cheque. Mixed feelings of course - I would rather send the cheque back and be healthy again. A wise friend said "You are stuck with one, so you may as well take the other". I really do appreciate your help."
